The Project Team

At the start of the project, we work with you to plan your migrations around critical business processes and operations that will minimize the impact on users. We also ensure that the migration effectively uses your professional and technical resources and follows your security and compliance policies.
Migrating unstructured content is more challenging than migrating the raw data of structured content. Unstructured content must remain accurate and intact, including all the associations between documents and their properties.
Genus manages these complexities by completing an inventory of all source content before migration. We then confirm migration accuracy against that inventory with process audit logs and tests of the content state in the destination system. This process validates the successful migration of each content object, its properties, and associated links.
Historically, one of the most troublesome parts of a migration is dealing with items that do not migrate. Genus’s toolkit identifies these objects and logs enough detail to resolve issues rapidly. Our migration process includes “delta” migrations to transfer those failing items and other new or modified content.
