Nuxeo Video Suite offers integration with industry-leading video processing services including transcription and translation. Processing can be configured to happen automatically at upload or initiated manually at the discretion of a privileged user.

Video Suite manages the requests, prevents duplicate submissions, provides status, and delivers notifications. These enhancements provide total control of your video library and processing costs.

Transcript Search

Nuxeo Video Suite 2.0 adds search to the read-along transcript viewer introduced in the original release. The search capability provides users a quick way to find pertinent content within the video transcript using a simple search form.

Search terms are highlighted within the transcript and navigation arrows allow a user to move through all occurrences of the term. Selecting the term in the transcript cues the video from that point making video consumption more efficient and enriching.

Chaptering

The ability to create chapters logically segments the video and further assists users with navigation and locating key locations within the video. Users are presented with a chapter title and keyframe corresponding to the start of the chapter for easier recognition. Jump right to the start of any chapter and begin viewing.

Thumbnail Presentation

In addition to the traditional storyboard displayed below the video, continuous thumbnails are now displayed when hovering over the scrub bar. It provides the user with a detailed look at the video content, helping locate the sought-after spot in the video using visual cues.

Transcript Editor

Nuxeo Video Suite 2.0 provides an improved, more intuitive transcript editor. Users can polish transcripts, add transcript entries, capture player time codes, and even add new tracks. Reviewing and managing transcripts just became a whole lot easier.
